45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Hannah Bratton is graduating as the salutatorian of
67 the senior class of Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi in
78 2015; and
89 WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
910 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
1011 highest academic standards; Ms. Bratton has demonstrated a
1112 thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her
1213 favorite being calculus; in addition, she participated in numerous
1314 extracurricular activities, including yearbook, basketball, and
1415 National Honor Society; and
1516 WHEREAS, The daughter of John and Johanna Bratton,
1617 Ms. Bratton plans to continue her education by enrolling at Texas
1718 A&M University to study civil engineering; and
1819 WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Hannah Bratton has
1920 earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates,
2021 and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment
2122 to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for
2223 this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
2324 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2425 Legislature hereby congratulate Hannah Bratton, salutatorian of
2526 the Class of 2015 at Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi,
2627 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
2728 begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
2829 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2930 prepared for Ms. Bratton as an expression of high regard by the
3031 Texas House of Representatives.
