 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Katie Lynn Duncan is graduating as the salutatorian
 of the senior class of Incarnate Word Academy High School in Corpus
 Christi in 2015; and
 WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
 highest academic standards; Ms. Duncan has demonstrated a thorough
 understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her favorites being
 social studies, math, and science; in addition, she participated in
 numerous extracurricular activities, including National Honor
 Society, photography club, and the Incarnate Word Academy Mission
 Team; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of Tommy and Debra Hendricks and Gary
 Duncan, Ms. Duncan plans to continue her education by enrolling at
 The University of Texas at Austin to study radio, television, and
 film as well as business; and
 WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Katie Lynn Duncan
 has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and
 classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and
 commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless
 opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be
 it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Katie Lynn Duncan, salutatorian of
 the Class of 2015 at Incarnate Word Academy High School in Corpus
 Christi, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
 success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be
 it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Duncan as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
