45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Regor Marin is graduating as the valedictorian of
67 the senior class of Foy H. Moody High School in Corpus Christi in
78 2015; and
89 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
910 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
1011 highest academic standards; Mr. Marin has demonstrated a thorough
1112 understanding of a wide range of subjects, with his favorite being
1213 financial accounting; in addition, he participated in numerous
1314 extracurricular activities, including Science Club and University
1415 Interscholastic League competitions; and
1516 WHEREAS, The son of Roger and Maria Marin, Mr. Marin plans to
1617 continue his education by enrolling at Texas A&M University--Corpus
1718 Christi to study accounting; and
1819 WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Regor Marin has
1920 earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and classmates,
2021 and his exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment
2122 to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for
2223 this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
2324 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2425 Legislature hereby congratulate Regor Marin, valedictorian of the
2526 Class of 2015 at Foy H. Moody High School in Corpus Christi, and
2627 extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins
2728 the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further
2829 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2930 prepared for Mr. Marin as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3031 House of Representatives.
