45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Katie Elaine Becker is graduating as the
67 valedictorian of the senior class of Bishop High School in 2015; and
78 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
89 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
910 highest academic standards; Ms. Becker has demonstrated a thorough
1011 understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her favorites being
1112 mathematics and science; in addition, she participated in numerous
1213 extracurricular activities, including National Honor Society, FFA,
1314 and UIL academics; and
1415 WHEREAS, The daughter of Craig and Missy Becker, Ms. Becker
1516 plans to continue her education by enrolling at Texas A&M
1617 University--Kingsville to study chemical engineering; and
1718 WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Katie Elaine Becker
1819 has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and
1920 classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and
2021 commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless
2122 opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be
2223 it
2324 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2425 Legislature hereby congratulate Katie Elaine Becker, valedictorian
2526 of the Class of 2015 at Bishop High School, and extend to her
2627 sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next
2728 exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
2829 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2930 prepared for Ms. Becker as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3031 House of Representatives.
