 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Christina Marie Matl is graduating as the
 valedictorian of the senior class of Incarnate Word Academy High
 School in Corpus Christi in 2015; and
 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
 highest academic standards; Ms. Matl has demonstrated a thorough
 understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her favorites being
 chemistry, calculus, physics, and English; in addition, she
 participated in numerous extracurricular activities, including
 student council, National Honor Society, and the science club; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of Peter and Lisa Matl, Ms. Matl plans
 to continue her education by enrolling at Princeton University to
 study chemical and biological engineering; and
 WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Christina Marie
 Matl has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and
 classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and
 commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless
 opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be
 it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Christina Marie Matl,
 valedictorian of the Class of 2015 at Incarnate Word Academy High
 School in Corpus Christi, and extend to her sincere best wishes for
 continued success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her
 life; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Matl as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
