45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Kristina Correa is graduating as the valedictorian
67 of the senior class of Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi
78 in 2015; and
89 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
910 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
1011 highest academic standards; Ms. Correa has demonstrated a thorough
1112 understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her favorites being
1213 biology, chemistry, English, and calculus; in addition, she
1314 participated in numerous extracurricular activities, including
1415 academic decathlon, International Thespian Society, and the
1516 KEDT-TV Challenge! Team; and
1617 WHEREAS, The daughter of Vicky Correa, Ms. Correa plans to
1718 continue her education by enrolling at Stanford University to study
1819 biology; and
1920 WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Kristina Correa has
2021 earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates,
2122 and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment
2223 to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for
2324 this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
2425 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2526 Legislature hereby congratulate Kristina Correa, valedictorian of
2627 the Class of 2015 at Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi,
2728 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
2829 begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for Ms. Correa as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3132 House of Representatives.
