45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Julisiana Palermo is graduating as the
67 valedictorian of the senior class of Roy Miller High School in
78 Corpus Christi in 2015; and
89 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
910 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
1011 highest academic standards; Ms. Palermo has demonstrated a
1112 thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her
1213 favorites being mathematics, science, and anatomy; in addition, she
1314 participated in numerous extracurricular activities, including
1415 cross-country, track, and basketball; and
1516 WHEREAS, The daughter of Margarita Martinez and Richard
1617 Garcia, Ms. Palermo plans to continue her education by enrolling at
1718 University of the Incarnate Word to study physical therapy; and
1819 WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Julisiana Palermo
1920 has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and
2021 classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and
2122 commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless
2223 opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be
2324 it
2425 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2526 Legislature hereby congratulate Julisiana Palermo, valedictorian
2627 of the Class of 2015 at Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi,
2728 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
2829 begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for Ms. Palermo as an expression of high regard by the
3132 Texas House of Representatives.
