9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Formed in 1989, the AWARE Foundation recognizes and |

10 | 11 | | rewards outstanding teachers in the Arlington Independent School |
---|
11 | 12 | | District; each year, members of the foundation's selection |

12 | 13 | | committee undertake the challenging task of choosing the finest |
---|
13 | 14 | | educators in the district through a process of nomination, |

14 | 15 | | classroom observation, and interviewing; in being designated as the |

15 | 16 | | runner-up for the prekindergarten through first grade award, |

16 | 17 | | Ms. Faulkner was presented with a cash prize of $1,500 at the |

17 | 18 | | organization's awards banquet on May 5, 2015; and |

18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Quality educators play an essential role in |
