45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, The members of the Ingram FFA agronomy team
67 distinguished themselves by capturing a state championship at the
78 Texas FFA State Career Development Event on April 25, 2015; and
89 WHEREAS, Competing against other talented teams from across
910 the Lone Star State at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, the Ingram
1011 students displayed a keen knowledge of agronomic management to take
1112 home the state title; with its victory, the group secured an
1213 invitation to take part in the 2015 National FFA Convention, held in
1314 October in Louisville; and
1415 WHEREAS, Marah Walls led the way for the Ingram FFA, claiming
1516 the top spot in the individual standings for an unprecedented third
1617 year in a row; also contributing to the state championship triumph
1718 were Delaney Roark, Jordan Ulanday, and Hannah Wells; moreover, the
1819 students were ably guided by FFA advisors Don Harris and Tyler
1920 Maltsberger; and
2021 WHEREAS, With their fine showing at the Texas FFA State
2122 Career Development Event, the Ingram FFA agronomy team has
2223 continued a proud tradition of extracurricular achievement, and the
2324 students may take justifiable pride in the skill and dedication
2425 they have demonstrated; now, therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby congratulate the Ingram FFA agronomy team on
2728 winning a state championship at the FFA State Career Development
2829 Event and extend to the team's members sincere best wishes for the
2930 future; and, be it further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3233 House of Representatives.
