| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Dorothy Whaley has served with distinction as a |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Precinct chairs are integral to the success of their |

| 8 | 9 | | party's mission to elect public servants who will build a better |

| 9 | 10 | | state and nation for today's citizenry and for generations to come; |

| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, |

| 12 | 13 | | citizens must exercise their right to vote, and precinct chairs |

| 14 | 15 | | inspire voters to support their party's candidates are part of a |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, It is most appropriate that we take this opportunity |

| 17 | 18 | | to recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time and energy |

| 19 | 20 | | interests of working families, fighting for equal opportunities, |
