H.R. No. 3100
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Mallory Dotson of Deweyville High School achieved
great distinction by winning a bronze medal in the Class 3A girls'
discus throw at the 2015 UIL Track & Field State Meet; and
WHEREAS, Joining the top high school competitors in Texas at
Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 16, Ms. Dotson turned in a
notable performance, recording a distance of 128 feet, 10 inches,
to claim third place in the event; and
WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for
high school track and field athletes, Mallory Dotson has ably
represented her school, and she will cherish her memories of this
outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Mallory Dotson on her third-place
finish in the Class 3A girls' discus throw at the 2015 UIL Track &
Field State Meet and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Dotson as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
