 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Brenna Moore of Midwestern State University brought
 her collegiate athletic career to a triumphant close by winning the
 2015 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship, held at The
 Meadows course at Grand Valley State University in Michigan on May
 16; and
 WHEREAS, Less than a month after claiming the NCAA Division
 II West Super Region individual title, Brenna Moore carded a total
 score of 9-over 297 through four rounds to capture the national
 championship trophy; her victory was made even more special by
 clinching Midwestern State's first national title in
 intercollegiate sports; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Brennan and Debra
 Moore, this talented senior has earned All-Lone Star Conference
 honors in each of her four seasons in the golf program and has been
 named an All-American for two consecutive years; through 44 career
 tournaments, she has garnered 33 top-10 finishes, including seven
 runner-up performances, and has won four individual medals; and
 WHEREAS, Under the skilled guidance of coach Jeff Ray, Brenna
 Moore has proven herself as a competitor of admirable skill and
 dedication, and she is indeed deserving of recognition for her
 outstanding accomplishment; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Brenna Moore on winning the 2015
 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship and extend to her
 sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Moore as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
