H.R. No. 3106
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Robert Hunt of Burkeville High School achieved
great distinction by participating in the 2015 University
Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet; and
WHEREAS, Joining the top high school competitors in Texas at
Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 15, Mr. Hunt placed sixth
overall in the boys' Class 1A shot put event; and
WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete as one of the elite
track & field athletes in the Lone Star State, Robert Hunt has ably
represented his school, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his
notable accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Robert Hunt on participating in the
Class 1A shot put event at the 2015 UIL Track & Field State Meet and
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Hunt as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
