R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal
milestones, and Kathryn Mary Criaco is participating in that joyful
occasion with her 2015 graduation from St. Agnes Academy in
Houston; and
WHEREAS, Earning her high school diploma has required hard
work and dedication, and Ms. Criaco can reflect with pride on the
perseverance she has demonstrated in the pursuit of her goals; a
high honor roll student and Advanced Placement scholar, she has
been a member of the Dominican Preaching Team and National Honor
Society; and
WHEREAS, In addition to her scholastic achievements,
Ms. Criaco has gained valuable experience as a volunteer with the
Putney Student Learning program in Argentina and the National
Charity League; she plans to continue her education at The
University of Texas at Austin as a premedical student; and
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and
friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with
promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Kathryn Mary Criaco on the occasion
of her high school graduation and extend to her sincere best wishes
for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Criaco as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
