| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |

| 6 | 7 | | mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Tom and Donna Lene' of |

| 7 | 8 | | Waco celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on December |

| 8 | 9 | | 26, 2014; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Tom Lene' and the former Donna Hamilton were joined |

| 10 | 11 | | in matrimony in 1964 at a ceremony held at the groom's parents' home |

| 11 | 12 | | in China Spring; through the years, they have been blessed with a |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | treasured family that includes their children, Tommy Lene' and his |

| 13 | 14 | | wife, Sandra, Lisa Partlow and her husband, Todd, and Candace |

| 14 | 15 | | Smythe and her husband, Mark, as well as their nine grandchildren; |

| 15 | 16 | | and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Lene' |

| 17 | 18 | | worked for the Darr Equipment Company and Mrs. Lene' was employed |

| 18 | 19 | | by Baylor University; in retirement, they have enjoyed spending |

| 19 | 20 | | time with their loved ones and have also been active members of |

| 20 | 21 | | Parkview Baptist Church; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lene' have enjoyed five decades of |

| 22 | 23 | | abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |

| 24 | 25 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 26 | 27 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Tom and Donna Lene' on their 50th |
