| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Samantha Rago has ably served her fellow Texans as |

|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Rago has provided vital |

| 9 | 10 | | assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in |

| 10 | 11 | | addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A native of El Paso and a 2012 graduate of Coronado |

| 14 | 15 | | High School, Ms. Rago currently is pursuing a bachelor's degree in |

| 15 | 16 | | political communications at The University of Texas at Austin, and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | she hopes to attend law school after completing her undergraduate |

| 17 | 18 | | studies; active within her college community, she is a member of the |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law fraternity and the Alpha Lambda Delta and |

| 19 | 20 | | Phi Eta Sigma honor societies at UT; in her leisure time, she enjoys |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | spending time outdoors, exercising, and wake surfing; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |

| 22 | 23 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |

| 23 | 24 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
