| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Luis Brasil has ably served his fellow Texans as an |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Brasil has provided |

| 10 | 11 | | in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |

| 11 | 12 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Jose Pompeu Brasil and |

| 14 | 15 | | Virginia Brasil, Mr. Brasil grew up in both the United States and |

| 15 | 16 | | Brazil, and he remains passionate about addressing concerns in |

| 16 | 17 | | communities at home and abroad; he currently is pursuing a |

| 17 | 18 | | bachelor's degree in international relations and global studies at |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | The University of Texas at Austin; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |

| 20 | 21 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |

| 21 | 22 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
