H.R. No. 3252 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Andres Cerecero has ably served his fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State Representative Joe Moody during the 84th Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Cerecero has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained valuable experience in the field of public service; and WHEREAS, Mr. Cerecero is a sophomore at The University of Texas at Austin, where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in government with certification in business administration; active in campus life, he serves as parliamentarian and as chair of the Student Affairs Committee for the Liberal Arts Council, as an at-large member of the Senate of College Councils, and as a mentor for the Gateway Scholars Program and for Texas Men of Excellence; he plans to attend law school with the goal of one day becoming a criminal prosecutor and eventually pursuing a political career; and WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas Legislature hereby commend Andres Cerecero for his service as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Joe Moody and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Cerecero as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
