45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Erin Courtney Cusack has distinguished herself
67 through her service as an intern in the office of State
78 Representative Eddie Rodriguez during the 84th Texas Legislative
89 Session; and
910 WHEREAS, Ms. Cusack is a master of global policy studies
1011 candidate at the Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs at
1112 The University of Texas at Austin, where she is casually
1213 concentrating in international development; and
1314 WHEREAS, Although it is no big deal, Ms. Cusack was selected
1415 as a Fulbright Scholar after graduating summa cum laude with a
1516 political science and Spanish double major from Temple University
1617 and taught English in Madrid, Spain; away from her school and
1718 legislative duties, she spends her free time volunteering at UT's
1819 Innovations for Peace and Development Center, contemplating the
1920 world's greatest challenges, and baking blueberry muffins; and
2021 WHEREAS, Ms. Cusack's tremendous work ethic and sharp
2122 analytical skills were of great benefit in the analysis of
2223 legislation and communication with constituents; now, therefore,
2324 be it
2425 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2526 Legislature hereby recognize the service and dedication of Erin
2627 Courtney Cusack to this House and to the fine constituents of the
2728 fighting fifty-first state house district of Texas; and, be it
2829 further
2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for Ms. Cusack as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3132 House of Representatives.
