| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |

| 6 | 7 | | passing of Gerald W. Bolfing of Waco on May 11, 2015, at the age of |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born in Waco on August 31, 1928, to Robert E. and |

| 9 | 10 | | Helen Ann Bolfing, Gerald Bolfing graduated from Waco High School |

| 10 | 11 | | in 1945; he and the former Patsy Oakes exchanged wedding vows on |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | June 20, 1949, and they shared 27 rewarding years together until her |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | passing; fortunate enough to find love again, Mr. Bolfing married |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Mary Jo Streit in February 1990; he was the father of four children, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | Patty, Michael Ann, Gerald, and John, and he eventually knew the joy |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | of welcoming into his family 2 stepchildren, Bradley and Susan, 17 |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, After working in his father's store for many years, |

| 18 | 19 | | Mr. Bolfing opened Bolfing's Food Store in Lacy-Lakeview with his |

| 19 | 20 | | brother; he went on to found an oil and gas company, which |

| 20 | 21 | | eventually became Magnum Hunter Resources, a New York Stock |

| 21 | 22 | | Exchange company; in addition, he shared his time and talents with a |

| 22 | 23 | | number of area organizations, and he served on the boards of |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | Affiliated Foods and Friends for Life; and |

| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Gerald Bolfing was a kind and generous friend and a |

| 25 | 26 | | significant asset to his community, and he leaves behind a record of |

| 26 | 27 | | service that his loved ones can remember with pride; now, |
