| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Madeleine Bewley has ably served her fellow Texans |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Maddy Bewley has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 10 | 11 | | in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |

| 11 | 12 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained |

| 12 | 13 | | valuable experience in the field of public service; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Bewley earned bachelor's degrees in public |

| 14 | 15 | | relations and advertising from The University of Texas at |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Arlington; she previously served as the lead intern for the Wendy R. |

| 16 | 17 | | Davis for Governor campaign, and she was a spring fellow with |

| 17 | 18 | | Battleground Texas; furthermore, she has volunteered her time and |

| 18 | 19 | | talents to the American Advertising Federation, Big Brothers Big |

| 19 | 20 | | Sisters of America, and Southwest Children's Camp Association; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |

| 21 | 22 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |

| 22 | 23 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
