45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Madeleine Bewley has ably served her fellow Texans
67 as an intern in the office of State Representative Chris Turner
78 during the 84th Legislative Session; and
89 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Maddy Bewley has provided
910 vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
1011 in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
1112 issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained
1213 valuable experience in the field of public service; and
1314 WHEREAS, Ms. Bewley earned bachelor's degrees in public
1415 relations and advertising from The University of Texas at
1516 Arlington; she previously served as the lead intern for the Wendy R.
1617 Davis for Governor campaign, and she was a spring fellow with
1718 Battleground Texas; furthermore, she has volunteered her time and
1819 talents to the American Advertising Federation, Big Brothers Big
1920 Sisters of America, and Southwest Children's Camp Association; and
2021 WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
2122 duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
2223 indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
2324 therefore, be it
2425 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2526 Legislature hereby commend Madeleine Bewley for her service as a
2627 legislative intern in the office of State Representative Chris
2728 Turner and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
2829 in all her endeavors; and, be it further
2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for Ms. Bewley as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3132 House of Representatives.
