| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Brenda Escobar is graduating from Pasadena Early |

| 6 | 7 | | College High School on June 4, 2015; and |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, In undertaking the rigorous PECHS curriculum, |

| 8 | 9 | | Ms. Escobar has completed an accelerated course of study in which |

| 9 | 10 | | she has earned both a high school diploma and an associate's degree |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | in business from San Jacinto Community College; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, One of the top 10 graduates in her class, |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Ms. Escobar plans to continue her education at the University of |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Houston, where she will major in business; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, During her years at PECHS, this accomplished young |

| 15 | 16 | | Texan has distinguished herself through her skill and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | determination, and the knowledge and confidence she has acquired |

| 17 | 18 | | along the way will serve her well in the years to come; now, |

| 19 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
