R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Susana Valdez is graduating from Pasadena Early
College High School on June 4, 2015; and
WHEREAS, In undertaking the rigorous PECHS curriculum,
Ms. Valdez has completed an accelerated course of study in which
she has earned both a high school diploma and an associate's degree
in social and behavioral studies from San Jacinto Community
College; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Valdez will attend the University of
Houston-Clear Lake in the fall, and she hopes to one day pursue a
career as a health care administrator; and
WHEREAS, During her years at PECHS, this accomplished young
Texan has distinguished herself through her skill and determination,
and the knowledge and confidence she has acquired along the way will
serve her well in the years to come; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Susana Valdez on her graduation
from Pasadena Early College High School as a member of the Class of
2015 and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Valdez as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
