| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The House District 106 Internship Program was |

| 8 | 9 | | school students from Denton County have been selected to |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Designed to prepare the next generation of leaders, |

| 11 | 12 | | the internship initiative attracted some 100 applicants from |

| 12 | 13 | | District 106; a selection committee of area leaders helped narrow |

| 13 | 14 | | the pool, and 11 were chosen for the program; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The participants are Tyler Bohannan, Madison |

| 15 | 16 | | Mattingly, Sarah Meeks, and Nicole Bordman of Frisco, Robert |

| 16 | 17 | | Stewart of Oak Point, J. W. Morgan, Marissa Morris, and Cole |

| 17 | 18 | | Younkers of Pilot Point, Mason Corr and Connor Farmer of The Colony, |

| 18 | 19 | | and Keziah Mitakidis of Little Elm; the interns assist with |

| 19 | 20 | | constituent services, interact with community leaders, and attend |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | civic events throughout the district; moreover, they have the |

| 21 | 22 | | opportunity to travel to Austin to see the legislative process |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Through hard work and dedication, these dynamic |
