R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jonathan Morrison was honored as the Firefighter of
the Year of Marble Falls Fire Rescue at the Hill Country 100 Club
Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year,
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Morrison began his employment with Marble Falls
Fire Rescue in 2011; before completing his training as a
firefighter, he volunteered with the Granite Shoals Fire Department
and also worked for Horseshoe Bay Fire Rescue; and
WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to duty, Jonathan
Morrison exemplifies the highest ideals of his profession and
contributes immeasurably to the safety and well-being of his fellow
citizens; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jonathan Morrison on his selection
as the Hill Country 100 Club Firefighter of the Year of Marble Falls
Fire Rescue and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success with his important work; and, be it further

ESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Morrison as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
