| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Jesse Balderas was honored as the Firefighter of the |

| 7 | 8 | | Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides |

| 9 | 10 | | valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Balderas became a resident of Granite Shoals in |

| 14 | 15 | | 1996, and he has been a valued member of Granite Shoals Fire Rescue |

| 15 | 16 | | for nearly two decades; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to duty, Jesse |
