| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Residents of Throckmorton County lost an admired |

| 6 | 7 | | community leader with the passing of Wilton Ernest Cantrell of |

| 7 | 8 | | Elbert on January 26, 2015, at the age of 72; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Wilton Cantrell was born in Hog Creek on September |

| 9 | 10 | | 10, 1942, to Raymond and Emma Cantrell; he served with the United |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | States Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and after returning |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | to civilian life made his living as a farmer and rancher in Elbert; |

| 12 | 13 | | he was elected county commissioner of Precinct 4 in Throckmorton |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | County; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The father of two children, Christopher and Kaylee, |

| 15 | 16 | | Mr. Cantrell later welcomed into his family two grandchildren, |

| 16 | 17 | | Taylor and Ace; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Wilton Cantrell served his country and his community |

| 18 | 19 | | with great dedication, and he is deeply missed by all those who had |

| 19 | 20 | | the good fortune to know him; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
