No. 783 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Aaron Suarez of Corpus Christi has excelled in computer science during his academic career, and his achievements have been recognized by Project Lead The Way; and WHEREAS, A national nonprofit organization that develops science, technology, engineering, and math curricula, PLTW published a profile highlighting the work of this notable young Texan during Computer Science Education Week; and WHEREAS, Mr. Suarez was first inspired to learn more about computers as an elementary school student, and he went on to pursue the subject during his years at the Innovation Academy for Engineering, Environmental & Marine Science at Moody High School; following his graduation as salutatorian in 2012, he enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he now majors in computer science; and WHEREAS, Talented and dedicated, Aaron Suarez represents the best of the Lone Star State, and his continuing pursuit of excellence gives promise of a bright and rewarding future; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Aaron Suarez on being recognized by Project Lead The Way and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all of his endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Suarez as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
