 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
 mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Patrick and Jeanette
 McCaslin of Georgetown celebrated this joyous milestone in their
 marriage on February 13, 2015; and
 WHEREAS, Patrick McCaslin and the former Jeanette Campbell
 met in her hometown of Waco, where he attended flight training at
 James Connally Air Force Base; they were joined in matrimony in 1965
 at a military ceremony; through the years, they have been blessed
 with a treasured family that includes their children, Darren and
 his wife, Oanh, and Jonathan and his wife, Theresa, as well as their
 two grandsons, Andrew and Nicholas; and
 WHEREAS, His military career took the family to assignments
 throughout the United States as well as Central and South America;
 Mr. McCaslin served his country in Vietnam and Mrs. McCaslin
 devoted herself to raising their children; residents of the Sun
 City community since 2004, the couple enjoy watching the wildlife
 that passes through their backyard along Berry Creek, and they
 share a fondness for travel and country-western dancing; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. McCaslin have shared five decades of
 abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an
 exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
 commitment; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Patrick and Jeanette McCaslin on
 their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best
 wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
