| 6 | 7 | | the loss of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Justin Holt, who died while |

| 7 | 8 | | serving his country on February 6, 2015, at the age of 31; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Assigned to Bravo Troop 2-1 CAV Company 4th ID, |

| 9 | 10 | | Staff Sgt. Holt lost his life in a training accident at Fort Carson |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | Army Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Justin Holt was born in Paris on September 3, 1983, |

| 12 | 13 | | to Robert and Judy Holt; after graduating from Pittsburg High |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Germany and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | Kuwait, in addition to deploying twice to Iraq; he was supported in |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | all of his endeavors by a loving family, and he was the proud father |

| 16 | 17 | | of two children, Kayden and Morgan; and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Americans owe a profound debt of gratitude to this |

| 18 | 19 | | nation's servicemen and servicewomen, who make immeasurable |

| 19 | 20 | | sacrifices for their country and who risk their very lives in its |

|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Exemplifying the highest ideals of the U.S. armed |

| 22 | 23 | | forces, Justin Holt inspired others with his fortitude, tenacity, |

| 24 | 25 | | loved ones, they will forever carry memories of this heroic Texan |
