| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends have been deeply saddened by the |

| 6 | 7 | | loss of Mary Alice Muñoz of Corpus Christi, who passed away on |

| 7 | 8 | | January 31, 2015, at the age of 68; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mary Alice Muñoz was born on January 9, 1947, in |

| 9 | 10 | | Corpus Christi; a valued member of the Hi-Fairnessee Girls Club, |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | she graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1965 and went on to |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | attend Del Mar College; she subsequently joined the staff of Spohn |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Memorial Medical Center, retiring as a laboratory technician after |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | 46 years of dedicated service to the hospital; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Always centering her life on her family, Ms. Muñoz |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | found a true companion in Frank "Paco" Muñoz, with whom she enjoyed |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | a rewarding marriage that spanned 27 years; she was the proud mother |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | of two children, Nancy and Nick, and she cherished the time she |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | spent with her three grandchildren, Alexandria, Joshua, and Ashley; |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | her life was further enriched by many close friends and her beloved |

| 20 | 21 | | pet, Wilson II; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Though she valued quality time at home with her |

| 22 | 23 | | family, Ms. Muñoz also loved to travel; over the years, her |

| 23 | 24 | | wanderlust led her to a variety of locations, including Rome, |

| 24 | 25 | | Germany, the Netherlands, Alaska, and several state and national |

| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, A kind and generous woman who would gladly lend a |

| 27 | 28 | | sympathetic ear to anyone in need of counsel, Mary Alice Muñoz |

| 28 | 29 | | enriched many lives with her compassionate spirit, and she will be |

| 29 | 30 | | deeply missed by all those who had the great privilege of sharing in |

| 30 | 31 | | her love and affection; now, therefore, be it |
