| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Nicholas Kerekgyarto of Boy Scouts of America Troop |

| 6 | 7 | | No. 135 in McKinney has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this |

| 7 | 8 | | accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant |

| 9 | 10 | | honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the |

| 10 | 11 | | scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding |

| 11 | 12 | | criteria, Mr. Kerekgyarto earned 26 merit badges and successfully |

| 12 | 13 | | completed an Eagle Scout project of benefit to his community, which |

| 13 | 14 | | involved painting a mural on a playground wall at his church; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, This fine young Texan has demonstrated outstanding |

| 15 | 16 | | leadership ability throughout his scouting career, winning the |

| 16 | 17 | | respect and admiration of the fellow members of his troop through |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | his service as patrol leader and assistant senior patrol leader and |

| 18 | 19 | | as a member of the Order of the Arrow; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, A freshman at McKinney High School, Mr. Kerekgyarto |

| 20 | 21 | | is a member of the school's Criminal Justice Club, which |

| 21 | 22 | | participates in University Interscholastic League competitions and |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | provides additional security at school functions; he also |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | participates in Junior ROTC and is active at his place of worship, |

| 24 | 25 | | where he regularly assists with children's church; and |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Kerekgyarto's dedication to excellence |

| 26 | 27 | | and his perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him |

| 27 | 28 | | worthy to stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect |
