The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the Department of Public Safety and the Texas Veterans Commission to develop and issue a one-page informational paper about veterans services provided by the state to a veteran who receives a driver's license or personal identification certificate with a veteran's designation. It is assumed any costs associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within current resources.
