108 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
119 SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 521, Transportation Code,
1210 is amended by adding Section 521.011 to read as follows:
1311 Sec. 521.011. SERVICES INFORMATION FOR VETERANS. The
1412 department and the Texas Veterans Commission shall jointly develop
1513 for veterans who receive a driver's license or personal
1614 identification certificate with a veteran's designation a one-page
1715 informational paper about veterans services provided by this state.
1816 SECTION 2. Section 521.102, Transportation Code, is amended
1917 by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
2018 (c) The department shall provide to the recipient of a
2119 personal identification certificate with a veteran's designation
2220 the informational paper described by Section 521.011 at the time
2321 the certificate is issued.
2422 SECTION 3. Section 521.1235, Transportation Code, is
2523 amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
2624 (c) The department shall provide to the recipient of a
2725 driver's license with a veteran's designation the informational
2826 paper described by Section 521.011 at the time the license is
2927 issued.
3028 SECTION 4. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
