| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Chapter 90, Parks and Wildlife Code, is amended | |
| 11 | 11 | by adding Section 90.0085 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 90.0085. CAMPING AND BUILDING FIRES PROHIBITED IN | |
| 13 | 13 | CERTAIN AREAS. (a) This section applies to a section of the Blanco | |
| 14 | 14 | River that is not located in a county adjacent to a county with a | |
| 15 | 15 | municipality with a population greater than 1.5 million. | |
| 16 | 16 | (b) Section 90.008(a) does not apply to the area described | |
| 17 | 17 | by this section. | |
| 18 | 18 | (c) A person may not camp or build a fire in a dry riverbed. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. Section 90.011(a), Parks and Wildlife Code, is | |
| 20 | 20 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 21 | 21 | (a) A person commits an offense if the person violates | |
| 22 | 22 | Section 90.002, [or] 90.008, or 90.0085. | |
| 23 | 23 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
