| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 153, Occupations Code, is |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Sec. 153.017. COMANAGEMENT REGISTRY. (a) The board shall |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | (1) maintain a registry of physicians engaged in the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | comanagement of patients under the provisions section |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 351.3581, Occupations Code. |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (2) make the registry available to the public though the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | board's internet website, and: |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | a. make the registry searchable by physician name, and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | county in which the physician lists the primary |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | practice location; |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | b. make searchable by licensee under Chapter 351, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Occupations Code. |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | (b) A physician engaged in comanagement of patients under |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | this section shall provide the names and primary practice address |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | of the licensees under Chapter 351 with whom the physician is |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | comanaging patients. |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | (c) A licensed physician engaged in comanagement under |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | section 351.3581, Occupations Code, may update this |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | information through the internet portal of the board |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | through which other information is updated at any time, |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | but shall do so at least annually. |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | Section 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015 |
|---|
