| 10 | 10 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Section 504.315, Transportation Code, is amended | |
| 12 | 12 | by adding Subsections (j) and (k) to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | (j) The department shall issue specialty license plates for | |
| 14 | 14 | recipients of the Gallantry Cross Medal. License plates issued | |
| 15 | 15 | under this subsection must include the Gallantry Cross Medal emblem | |
| 16 | 16 | and must include the words "Gallantry Cross Medal" at the bottom of | |
| 17 | 17 | each plate. | |
| 18 | 18 | (k) The department shall issue specialty license plates for | |
| 19 | 19 | recipients of the Prisoner of War Medal. License plates issued | |
| 20 | 20 | under this subsection must include the Prisoner of War Medal emblem | |
| 21 | 21 | and must include the words "Prisoner of War Medal" at the bottom of | |
| 22 | 22 | each plate. | |
| 23 | 23 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
