9	5		relating to the designation of a portion of State Highway 151 as the
10	6		Specialist Dane Balcon Memorial Bridge.
11	7		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
12	8		SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
13	9		is amended by adding Section 225.105 to read as follows:
14		-	Sec. 225.105. SPECIALIST DANE BALCON MEMORIAL BRIDGE. ~~(a)~~
15		-	The State Highway 151 bridge at Westover Hills in Bexar County is
16		-	designated as the Specialist Dane Balcon Memorial Bridge.

	11	+	(a) The State Highway 151 bridge at Westover Hills in Bexar County
	12	+	is designated as the Specialist Dane Balcon Memorial Bridge.
17	13		(b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:
18	14		(1) design and construct markers indicating the
19	15		designation as the Specialist Dane Balcon Memorial Bridge and any
20	16		other appropriate information; and
21	17		(2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at
22	18		appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
23	19		SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
24	20		a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
25	21		provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
26	22		Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
27	23		Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
