A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the creation of an additional family district court for
Fort Bend County.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 24, Government Code, is
amended by adding Section 24.644 to read as follows:
Sec. 24.644. 505TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (FORT BEND COUNTY).
The 505th Judicial District is composed of Fort Bend County.
SECTION 2. The 505th Judicial District is created on the
effective date of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
