44 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
55 AN ACT
66 relating to certain holders of motor home manufacturer's and
77 dealer's licenses.
88 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
99 SECTION 1. Section 2301.476(h), Occupations Code, is
1010 amended to read as follows:
1111 (h) A person who on June 7, 1995, held both a motor home
1212 manufacturer's license and a motor home dealer's license issued
1313 under this chapter may:
1414 (1) continue to hold:
1515 (A) the motor home manufacturer's license and any
1616 motor home dealer's license held on that date; or
1717 (B) the motor home manufacturer's license held on
1818 that date and may apply for and hold not more than one additional
1919 franchised dealer's license that was not held on that date [both
2020 licenses]; and
2121 (2) operate as both a manufacturer and dealer of motor
2222 homes but of no other type of vehicle.
2323 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
2424 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2525 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2626 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2727 Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
