8 | 8 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Section 2301.476(h), Occupations Code, is | |
10 | 10 | amended to read as follows: | |
11 | 11 | (h) A person who on June 7, 1995, held both a motor home | |
12 | 12 | manufacturer's license and a motor home dealer's license issued | |
13 | 13 | under this chapter may: | |
14 | 14 | (1) continue to hold: | |
15 | 15 | (A) the motor home manufacturer's license and any | |
16 | 16 | motor home dealer's license held on that date; or | |
17 | 17 | (B) the motor home manufacturer's license held on | |
18 | 18 | that date and may apply for and hold not more than one additional | |
19 | 19 | franchised dealer's license that was not held on that date [both | |
20 | 20 | licenses]; and | |
21 | 21 | (2) operate as both a manufacturer and dealer of motor | |
22 | 22 | homes but of no other type of vehicle. | |
23 | 23 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
24 | 24 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
25 | 25 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
26 | 26 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
27 | 27 | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
