The bill would amend the Government Code and Local Government Code to prohibit the state or certain political subdivisions from deducting or withholding dues or fees to a labor organization from an employee's salary or wages except for certain municipal fire department, police department, and emergency medical service department personnel. The bill would prohibit a member of a trade organization acting in capacity from entering certain premises without consent of the owner. The bill would prohibit a person to aid picketing at or near certain premise regardless of whether the premise is occupied by certain individuals.The bill would repeal Section 22.001, Education Code.
