75 relating to the designation of Loop 223 in Bastrop County as the
86 Captain Jesse Billingsley Memorial Loop.
97 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
108 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
119 is amended by adding Section 225.102 to read as follows:
1210 Sec. 225.102. CAPTAIN JESSE BILLINGSLEY MEMORIAL LOOP IN
1311 BASTROP COUNTY. (a) State Highway Loop 223 in McDade, Bastrop
1412 County, is designated as the Captain Jesse Billingsley Memorial
1513 Loop.
1614 (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:
1715 (1) design and construct markers indicating the
1816 designation as the Captain Jesse Billingsley Memorial Loop and any
1917 other appropriate information; and
2018 (2) erect a marker at each end of the loop and at
2119 appropriate intermediate sites along the loop.
2220 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
2321 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2422 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2523 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2624 Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
