| 8 | 8 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, | |
| 10 | 10 | is amended by adding Section 225.102 to read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | Sec. 225.102. RALPH HALL HIGHWAY. (a) Notwithstanding | |
| 12 | 12 | Section 225.001(c), the portion of Interstate Highway 30 in | |
| 13 | 13 | Rockwall County is designated as the Ralph Hall Highway. The | |
| 14 | 14 | designation is in addition to any other designation. | |
| 15 | 15 | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: | |
| 16 | 16 | (1) design and construct markers indicating the | |
| 17 | 17 | designation as the Ralph Hall Highway and any other appropriate | |
| 18 | 18 | information; and | |
| 19 | 19 | (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at | |
| 20 | 20 | appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
