75 relating to the online broadcast of open meetings of institutions

97 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
108 SECTION 1. Section 551.121(f), Government Code, is amended
119 to read as follows:
1210 (f) Each part of the telephone conference call meeting that
1311 is required to be open to the public must [shall] be:
1412 (1) audible to the public at the location specified in
1513 the notice of the meeting as the location of the meeting;
1614 (2) broadcast over the Internet in the manner
1715 prescribed by Section 551.128; and
1816 (3) [shall be] recorded and[. The recording shall be]
1917 made available to the public in an online archive located on the
2018 Internet website of the entity holding the meeting.
2119 SECTION 2. The changes in law made by this Act apply only to
2220 a meeting for which notice is posted under Section 551.043,
2321 Government Code, on or after the effective date of this Act.
2422 Meetings for which notice is posted before the effective date of
2523 this Act are governed by the law in effect at that time.
2624 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
