97 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
108 SECTION 1. Section 2054.133, Government Code, is amended by
119 adding Subsection (f) to read as follows:
1210 (f) Not later than January 13 of each odd-numbered year, the
1311 department shall submit a written report to the governor, the
1412 lieutenant governor, and the legislature evaluating information
1513 security for this state's information resources. In preparing the
1614 report, the department shall consider the information security
1715 plans submitted by state agencies under this section, any
1816 vulnerability reports submitted under Section 2054.077, and other
1917 available information regarding the security of this state's
2018 information resources. The department shall omit from any written
2119 copies of the report information that could expose specific
2220 vulnerabilities in the security of this state's information
2321 resources.
2422 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
