| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, When they married many years ago, Evelyn and Bill |

| 3 | 3 | | Beauchamp placed great faith and trust in one another, and they |

| 4 | 4 | | have been amply rewarded, as they are now celebrating their 50th |

| 5 | 5 | | wedding anniversary; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Evelyn Irene Scarlett and William Bryan Beauchamp |

| 7 | 7 | | were married on February 20, 1965, in Saint David's Episcopal |

| 8 | 8 | | Church in Austin; they were friends while attending Del Valle |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | High School, and they later began a courtship that lasted through |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | their years as students at The University of Texas; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | years of their marriage, yet Mr. and Mrs. Beauchamp have |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | continued to cherish traditional family values; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, They have been blessed with a wonderful family; |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | their daughters, Heather and Hillary, and their six |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | granddaughters, Scarlett, Kathryn, Georgia, Hillary, Audrey, and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Madeline, have been a source of much pride and joy; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Over the years, they have grown stronger in their |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | sorrows of everyday living; the long and happy union of Mr. and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Mrs. Beauchamp is truly an inspiration to us all; now, therefore, |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby extend sincere best wishes to Evelyn and Bill |
