| 6 | 6 | | special Founders Day Luncheon on January 24, 2015; and |

| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority was founded in 1913 on |

| 8 | 8 | | the campus of Howard University; the organization strives to |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | promote academic excellence, provide scholarships, improve |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | communities, support the underserved, and encourage civic and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | political awareness and participation; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Sorority members being recognized by the |

| 13 | 13 | | Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Chapters for 25 years of membership |
