| 3 | 3 | | recognize the Bob Bullock Scholars Program of Baylor University |

| 4 | 4 | | and this year's participants in the program; and |

| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Established in 2000 to honor the memory of |

| 6 | 6 | | Lieutenant Governor Bob Bullock, this exemplary program promotes |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | the study of politics by Baylor University students; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Each student in the program works for a member of |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | the House or Senate on a full-time basis during the legislative |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | session to learn firsthand about the political structure of Texas |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | government; the Bob Bullock Scholars Program is an outstanding |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | opportunity for those who seek to serve others through a career |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | in public service; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Dr. James A. Curry, the Bob Bullock Professor of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Public Policy and Administration at Baylor University, has |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | served as the director of the program since its inception; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, There are 10 Bob Bullock Scholars participating |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | in the 2015 Session of the Texas Legislature: Emily Brizzola-Dove |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | with Senator Larry Taylor, Sarah Byers with Senator Kirk Watson, |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Jessica Cox with Senator John Whitmire, Megan Rollag with Senator |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Jane Nelson, Patrick Crosby with Senator Brian Birdwell, Emily |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Knaub with Senator Don Huffines, Lillian Byas with Representative |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Bryan Hughes, Patrick Ntchobo with Representative Scott Turner, |
