11 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 454
22 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
33 recognize the Denco Area 9-1-1 District, which was honored with
44 the Outstanding 9-1-1 Call Center Program Award at the annual
55 NG9-1-1 Institute Honor Awards Gala on February 24, 2015; and
66 WHEREAS, The NG9-1-1 Institute is a national nonprofit
77 organization that provides administrative and policy support to
88 the Next Gen 9-1-1 Caucus and to 9-1-1 leaders throughout the
99 United States; and
1010 WHEREAS, The Outstanding 9-1-1 Call Center Program Award
1111 recognizes a call center and state or regional program for
1212 excellence in public service; the Denco Area 9-1-1 District was
1313 honored for providing exceptional emergency response services to
1414 the residents of Lewisville; and
1515 WHEREAS, Our communities are made safe through the
1616 dedicated work of first responders, and the staff and personnel
1717 of the Denco Area 9-1-1 District are indeed deserving of
1818 recognition for managing crisis situations and emergency
1919 technology with exceptional care and the utmost professionalism;
2020 now, therefore, be it
2121 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
2222 Legislature, hereby commend the dedicated professionals of the
2323 Denco Area 9-1-1 District for their exemplary work on behalf of
2424 Lewisville residents and extend to them best wishes for continued
2525 success; and, be it further
2626 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
2727 the district as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
