| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize the members of Vision Fort Worth on the occasion of |

| 4 | 4 | | their visit to the State Capitol; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Vision Fort Worth is an organization for young |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | professionals that was established by the Fort Worth Chamber of |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | Commerce in 2006; the organization aims to cultivate future city |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | leaders by creating opportunities for young people to network and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | to discover their own paths to success; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Since its inception, Vision Fort Worth has grown |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | to over 400 members and offers events two or three times per |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | month; members can participate in a strong mentorship program and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | are provided with numerous opportunities to become involved with |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | the community, to hear from top city leaders, and to attend |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | professional workshops and lectures; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Young professionals are flocking to the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex to establish careers in a vibrant and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | diverse region of Texas, and Vision Fort Worth works to ensure |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | that they have every opportunity to thrive; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Legislature, hereby commend Vision Fort Worth for the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | organization's work on behalf of the community and assistance to |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | young professionals in their quest for success and extend to all |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | best wishes for an enjoyable visit to Austin; and, be it further |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the |
